Jinger Adams Design Team Call

Wow what an opportunity it would be to be a designer on her team. For my project, I decided to make a mini wedding album! I am not married (and probably won't be for a while) and I don't really know anyone getting married right now, but I thought maybe for one day. :) I buy lots of wedding stickers and papers just in case hehe. Here are some photos of my project, thanks for taking the time to look! =]

For the cover, I used an open stock paper from JoAnn I believe, it was a black pearl type paper. Then, I used my Art Philosophy Cricut Cart for the border trim on the left side and the white flower in the top right corner, and the Home Decor cartridge for the frame in the middle. :) I used a stamp for "Our Wedding", and pearls in the bottom right corner to give the page a little something special. I also used a a Puffie, for the "I Do" sticker, but maybe that can be taken out, so a photo can go in the frame! Will decide on that when the book gets used :)

This is the first page inside. I used a black and white striped paper that I got from Micheals, it came in a stack of 25 sheets, and five designs. I cut out a tag in a pretty shimmer paper, and a heart (from Art Philosophy again, LOVE that cart!!) then I cut out "Our Little Tale" and "One Beautiful Day" from a DCWV paper pad stack, (The Bella Armoire Stack) it is such a beautiful stack. I thought that cut out worked perfect for journaling! Maybe for writing the day of the wedding, how may guests, what time they were married, anything really.

Here is a close up of the tag. It looks white, but it is a very light shimmer cream color, very pretty.

This is the next page in the mini album. Some cute polka dot papers, the white paper is meant to be a mat for a photograph. And inside the mat is a another tag. :]

This is a close up of the tag. LOVE that paper stack it is so beautiful.

The next page, it says "kiss" above the photo mat. Perfect for the first kiss as a married couple. :]

The next page, I put an i love you stamp, some cut out little hearts, and then a tag heart inside the mat. Cake photo could go here, or any picture really. The heart tag pulls out, and on it is a white paper with lines, so there can be writing on that tag about the photo.

Next page has a patterned background, with definitions of love, etc, a plaid mat, and a little tag inside.

This is the tag inside this page. I figured you could have guests sign it, or put a photo on the tag, journaling, maybe put a photo of the reception, write down what food was served, or what songs played during the wedding. :)

Another spot for journaling the wedding. :)

This is a close up of the happy tag. It pulls out and it has the word happy and the definition for it. (I thought it was sweet!)

This was another fun page to make. I used some pretty patterned paper for the background, and a gorgeous pearl paper for the mat. I also stamped a few images from a wedding stamp set I just received a few days ago. True Love, a Journaling Spot, and some pretty flowers.

This page took my the longest for some reason, but it was so worth it! I added a cut from the Sweethearts cart (one of the first carts I ever bought) it is the just married cut, and the borders are from Art Philosophy, and the top banner is a sticker. I used a white glitter paper for this and some rhinestones.

The very last page! Room for on more photo. I used a rub on from K and Company on the top for the black banner, it says "Treasure This Day" I thought it was fitting. :) The flower is another one of those puffies, and the photo corners were cut using AP again :)

I wanted to add that I made this album with the intent of it being neutral, and not gender specific, so that heterosexual and homosexual couples could enjoy it, and if I knew a gay or straight couple, I could give either one of them this. Thanks so much for looking and good luck everyone! :)

My Love for the Cricut

How did I get into the Cricut? Wow where do I start?? Well, I have always loved to take photos and scrapbook, I first started scrapbooking when I was 13 when I stepped into a Micheals Store and bought a few open stock papers. I did this for a while, but then suddenly stopped scrapbooking. I continued to take photos though. Then flash forward a couple of years. In the beginning of 2010, there was a JoAnn's opening in my small little city and I decided to apply to work there. It was there that I learned more about scrapbooking and even learned of the Cricut! I was able to demos and learn about the product. JoAnn was also where I met my boy friend, Raymond. We both worked there since the beginning, helping set up the store and then helping customers. Then, Christmas arrived, and Raymond bought me the Personal Cricut! It was one of the greatest gifts I ever received. I still use it to this day and I love being able to create so much with it.

Check out this amazing site! She is the reason I am writing about how I got into my Cricut :)
